Ingredients:

 

3 parts intelligence (I am really smart except I have awful grammatical & math skills)

5 parts arrogance (I would like to consider myself modest, but let’s be honest…I am overly confident to hide my insecurities)

3 parts beauty (I wish I was beautiful…but I get the adjective “Cute” probably because I am like everyone’s kid sister)

 

Add to a cocktail shaker. Shake not stir.  Add humor to taste and always over indulge.   

 

VICTORIA

 

Pronounced: vik-TOR-ee-ə (English)

Gender: Feminine even though I am a bit of a Tom Boy

Usage: The name Victoria is originally Latin. In Roman mythology Victoria was the name of a goddess and means victory or conqueror. The Queen of England Victoria started connoting royalty. I was named after 2 Queens and my Nona.  However, I go by Torre.  Do not ever call me Vicky and please spell my name correctly. 

 

I fell from Heaven on October 7, 1976 and landed in Canton, Ohio.  My mum divorced my biological father when I was 3 years old and I have not seen him since.  My philosophy is “love is thicker than blood”.  My mum re-married my Do Dah and he adopted us kids.  I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 nieces and another on its way (she’s here).  I graduated from Canton Central Catholic in 1995 and attended The Ohio State University.  I received my PHD in Underwater Basket Weaving.  Just kidding, I have a BS in Education and Exercise Science.  I was a cheerleader at OSU and took my AMAZING Cheer & Dance Skillz and hold the position of Senior Relationship Manager for a Cheer & Dance event planning company.  (You know the competitions you see on ESPN…that is what I do).  I have been trying to get fired from that career for 9 years.  But unfortunately, I am really good at it and I love it!!! I recently moved to Atlanta, GA to further my career in women’s athletics and held the position of Director of Marketing & Public Relations for Nfinity Athletic Corporation.  After a brief year with the company, I have taken sometime off and enjoying FUNemployment.  Considering my teaching certificate and considering completing my book. A lot to consider…

 

I am an obsessor of music, fashion whore, advice guru and muse.  I am really funny and have been know to be a great friend and confidante.  I love my family and friends probably more than I love myself and would do anything (within reason) for them.  I currently reside in the Short North in Columbus, Ohio, but have a strong desire to move to NYC or London.  Just waiting for the right time and the right opportunity. (I moved to ATL…I now visit NYC & London when I have enough coins.) 

 

Champagne Sunday’s is my pen name and I started this blog to help me get over my writers block.  I am finally back to writing my book and hope to have it completed by sometime in this lifetime. I hope to continue writing my blog just for sh*ts and giggles.
